From West to East

We visited Tasha, Nate and Callie in California just a few weeks ago. Then Tasha, Nate and Callie visited us in Utah for Thanksgiving. Now, we (Vickie, Jeff and Jill are visiting Ben, Mandy, Taryn, Brooke, Elise and coming grandson - in Ohio.

We used Frontier airline "buddy passes" to get here. The were only $180 round trip for all three of us - but - the segment from Salt Lake to Denver was full. The next plane out had room for us, but we arrived in Denver just as the plane to Dayton was leaving. So, we spent the night in Denver's Red Lion. We had no trouble at all getting a seat Thursday morning to Dayton.

Ben picked us up and we arrived just in time to see Taryn get off the bus. She gave Jill a hug, but then immediately stood in a line with the other children off the bus until the bus driver said it was ok to leave.

It was great to see all of them. They felt so good to hug. Mandy had a room for us. Of course, Jill's bed was in Taryn and Brooke's room. We had a hot bowl of chili and bread and watch the movie "Troy" until late.

Friday, because of more snow - we shoveled the driveway then Ben and I took the girl to Boonshoft (a neat museum for children) while the ladies went shopping. Actually at this very moment, it is 11:00pm and the ladies are still shopping, the girls are in bed, Ben is asleep on the floor and I am watching MI3.

Wow, sounds like quite the trip over there. It makes me worry a little about our trip over in Frb. Hopefully there will be less travelers. I hope you guys have a really good time. Take some good pix and post them.
P.S. Callie is actually spelled Kalli :) I know it is a little different

OOps!! Sorry Kalli. I knew that.

Yeah, about the buddy pass - it's works but will give you some advise.
Not to scare you, but we bought tickets to return on Monday. The seats were full on Frontier, so we are returning on Southwest. You'll need to pick your days to travel and probably best to pick flights that are really early or (secondly) after business travelers (later).

I've got a few photos to post if I can remember how.

Love you all.
